    sample~1000,000 times
  3. What is the commonly used materials in the cavity?
    P20, H13 steel, NAK80, S136, 738H, etc.
  4. What is the lead time of a plastic mold?
Design a single cavity mold, multiple cavities or modular mold according to product requirements, and the lead time varies from 3 to 8 weeks.
  5. What are the different types of plastic molding?
    (1) Injection plastic mold
It is mainly a molding mold most commonly used in producing thermoplastic parts products. The processing equipment corresponding to the injection mold is an injection molding machine. First, the plastics are heated and melted in the bottom heating barrel of the injection molding machine. And then, under the push of the screw or plunger, the molten plastic flows into the mold cavity through the nozzle of the injection molding machine and the mold gating system. At last, the plastic is cooled and hardened to form, and the products are obtained by demolding.
    (2) Plastic blow molds
It is a mold that forms plastic container class hollow products (such as beverage bottles, daily chemical products, and other various packaging containers). According to the process principle, the form of plastic blow molding mainly includes extrusion hollow blow molding, injection blow hollow molding, injection extension blow hollow molding (commonly known as plastic injection stretch blow moulding), multi-layer hollow blow molding, sheet blow hollow molding, and so on.
    (3) Extrusion mold
This mold is used to produce continuous-shaped plastic products, also known as extrusion blow molding head, which is widely used in processing pipes, bars, monofilaments, plates, films, wire and cable coating, profiled materials, etc.
    (4) Blister mold
It is a mold that uses plastic plates and sheets as raw materials to form simpler plastic products. The principle of blister molding is to use the vacuuming and blooming method or compressing air forming method to make the plastic board or sheet fixed on the die or punch, in the case of heating and softening, deformed and attached to the mold cavity to get the desired molded products. It is mainly used to produce some daily necessities, food, and toy packing products.
    (5)Compression mold
This kind of mold includes two structural mold types: compression molding vs injection molding types. They are molds mainly used to form thermosetting plastics, and their corresponding equipment is a press molding machine.
    (6) High-expanded polystyrene molding die
It is a mold that uses expandable polystyrene beads (bead material composed of polystyrene and foaming agent) as raw materials to form foam packaging materials of various desired shapes.
  6. What are the services of cosmetic packaging?
We can provide pull-tube bottles, plastic bottles, acrylic bottle, etc., and also can provide design, production, bronzing, printing, and other services.
  7. What are the packaging materials for cosmetics?
The commonly used plastics are HDPE, PET, PP, PVC, PS, PMMA and other materials.
  8. What is surface finish in machining of injection molded products?
Method Description Features and Applications
Bronzing Mainly used for silver or gold signs, it is a special printing process without ink. It uses a stencil installed on hot stamping machines with the help of a certain pressure and temperature so that the printed matter and the hot stamping foil are pressed against each other in a short time. The metallic foil or pigment foil is transferred to the surface of the hot-stamping products according to the graphics of the hot-stamping template. Pad printing Pad printing is an indirect concave printing technology that has become the primary method for printing and decorating the surface of various objects. With pad printing, a soft (rubber-like) silicone tip is pressed on the ink-coated print block and then on the products’ surface. Suitable for printing on irregular substrates (such as instruments, electrical parts, toys, etc.)
Silk-screen printing Silk-screen printing is a very ancient printing method invented by the Chinese 2000 years ago. The basic principle of silk-screen printing is: Partial mesh of the screen printing plate can penetrate the ink and leak to the substrate; the rest of the mesh on the printing plate is blocked and cannot penetrate the ink, forming a blank on the substrate. This method can be used for flat and cylindrical surfaces. Pad printing is suitable for small area printing, and silk screen printing can be used for large area printing.
Water transfer printing Water transfer printing is a kind of printing in which the transfer paper or plastic film with color patterns is hydrolyzed by water pressure. There are two types of technologies: one is watermark transfer technology, and the other is water coating transfer technology. The former mainly completes the transfer of text and photo patterns, while the latter tends to complete the transfer on the entire surface of the product. The overlay transfer technology uses water-based films easily dissolved in water to carry graphics. Due to the excellent tension of the water coating film, it is easy to wrap around the product surface to form a graphic layer, and the product surface gets an entirely different appearance, just like spray paint. The most significant advantage of water transfer printing is that it can form a seamless layer of simulated natural or desired texture colors on the products with concave and convex complex appearances. Its adhesion effect is not affected by the product’s material, and it also can avoid the virtual position that often occurs in general layout printing. And in the printing process, because the product surface does not need to be in contact with the printing film, it can avoid damage to the product surface and its integrity.
UV transfer printing The UV transfer process is also known as the UV perfusion process or UV coating process. It uses the non-stick properties of the UV transfer glue and metal to transfer the ultra-thin button effects of various mobile phones to PET, PMMA, or PC sheets through the UV transfer process, to make a wide variety of effects, including CD pattern, wire drawing pattern, woven pattern, sandblasting patterns, leather pattern, 3D surface, magic color effect, cat’s eye effect, matte surface, highlight surface effect, etc. With the advantages of being ultra-thin, high hardness, high wear resistance, high solvent resistance, and beautiful appearance, etc., it is used in the 3C industry, various remote control button, appliance control panel components, ceiling decorative pieces, and so on.
IML(ln Mold Labelling) The surface of the IML is a hardened transparent film with a printed pattern layer in the middle and a plastic layer on the back. Because the ink is sandwiched in the middle, it can prevent the products’ surface from being scratched and is anti-friction, and also can keep the color bright for a long time, and it is not easy to fade. It can realize matte surface, leather grain, wood grain, and various 3D patterns, but the outermost layer is made of thin film material, so the texture has no sense of touch. The film has a short production cycle and can express multiple colors. The pattern and color can be changed at any time during production. It has excellent scratch resistance. IML production batch quantity is flexible and suitable for multi-variety and small-scale production. Currently, IML is developing in various innovative directions, such as antibacterial, automatic repair of surface scratches, real cloth in-mold injection, pearl effect, 3D texture, etc.
Spray paint The paint layer structure generally consists of a primer, pigmented layer, and protective topcoat, where the pigment paint layer is thinner than the topcoat. Generally, hand-held spray gun is used to spray paint, or robot automatic painting production line is used. The harmonization of influencing factors such as paint viscosity, compressed air pressure, spray quantity, and spray speed is
crucial
to the surface quality of the workpiece. Modern paint equipment, using rotary sprayers, can obtain high-quality and extremely thin paint layers. Environmental protection often requires reducing solvent emissions when painting. One way to do this is to use water based paints or powder coat paint.
