A trimming die, also called a female die, is a stamping die that uses a die to trim the edge of the process part so that it has a certain height, diameter and shape.
The trimming die is mainly used to cut the edge of the deep drawing part to make the end surface smooth and beautiful, which is convenient for the next step of assembly.
The female die is used to cut off excess material, so the hardness of the materials is requested high. Commonly used materials for the die are: Cr12Mo1v1, Cr12Mov, Skd-51, Skd-11, tungsten steel, etc.
This product uses DC53 material, which overcomes the weakness of SKD11 in high-temperature tempering hardness and insufficient toughness.
